For a full dose of the Kimberley, you cannot beat our 'Works' tour, with views of our rugged ranges through to spectacular coastal scenery mixed with the unique history of this vast region. The 'Works' tour departs from Kununurra heading northwest along the lower Ord River with it's large population of fresh and saltwater crocodiles. We fly past the historic port of Wyndham over Cambridge Gulf, Adolphus Island, then the Berkeley River and Falls, across to the Drysdale River, out to the river mouth, then south past the old Pago Mission site to Kalumburu.
We land at the historic Kalumburu Mission airstrip for a tour of the Monastery and the chance to explore the World War II Bomber wrecks. Departing Kalumburu, we fly over the wartime airbase of Truscott, past some of the Kimberley's most stunning coastline to Port Warrender, the Mitchell River and Falls.
After a good look at the famous Mitchell Falls, we fly direct to Drysdale River Station for a one hour lunch stop. Following a good Kimberley size feed, we head back to Kununurra, over flying the Pentecost and Durack Ranges, El Questro Station and the Cockburn Range.
